Employee Relations

The Human Resources team takes a holistic view of disciplinary situations to ensure that cases are dealt with fairly, consistently and in line with current employment legislation. We also ensure that the process is used to encourage corrective actions rather than being punitive.

From time to time employees may feel that they wish to use the Company's grievance process to raise issues or concerns. We provide guidance with regards to the process and again take a holistic approach to ensure that concerns are dealt with in line with current employment legislation. In many cases we coach managers to try to resolve issues informally, without the need to initiate the formal process.

We support management and employees by ensuring that employees have a positive induction into the Company. We make sure that employees are aware of Company standards and encourage them to familiarise themselves with the Company handbook. Where appropriate, employees who are leaving the Company complete an exit interview. This information is gathered to ensure that we can improve the workplace experience for future employees.

As employment law can change fairly regularly, with some changes having a significant impact on our business we must ensure that our policies and procedures are up to date and in line with employment law. We must also ensure that our policies reflect our core values as well as being in line with our Operational Excellence objectives.
